Originally from Argentina, Leda
Daniel graduated form the
National University of Fine Art in
Buenos Aires. She migrated in
1991 with her Kiwi husband and
they now live in a farm in the
outskirts of Helensville, northwest
of Auckland.

Leda’s art journey spans over 30 years. In that time she has
painted in watercolours, acrylics and oils to depict landscapes
and also portraits. She participated in numerous exhibitions

around the country and is the current chairperson on the
board at the Helensville Art Centre.

Recently she has waded into the world of abstract art, more
specifically, resin art — which she found fascinating because
of its ability to satisfy her need for experimentation. ‘I am an
absolute lover of anything that sparkles, and resin has allowed
me to add that little magic into my work’.
