Ray Scott

Although he has been wood turning for only five years, in that time he has enjoyed a reasonable amount of success at some of the big shows. This includes a second placing at the Franklin Art Festival, and placings in three Royal Easter Shows over the years.
In April he received the Supreme Award for Woodcraft at Auckland's Royal Easter Show presented by the Governor General.
Ray likes to work in a variety of woods including maple, which he sources from a wide area.

Ray's studio in Helensville will be open over Labour Weekend October 26th-28th for the 2019 ARTS IN THE VILLE.
